Study after study confirms it: as girls reach adolescence, they begin to lose confidence. Our forthright, fearless, shining stars begin to doubt themselves, question their capabilities, scrutinize their bodies, and hesitate to take the lead.
Lucy’s Helping Hands was created to offer young girls a welcoming, fun, social environment that encourages self-confidence, teaches life skills and inspires compassion through a variety of community projects and charitable endeavors.
By guiding the girls along a meaningful path of service and compassion, they are able to find more purpose and direction in their lives. As a result, they enter the middle school years with a firm foundation of self-respect and confidence. They’re less likely to follow the crowd – and more likely to follow their own hearts.
